It’s all about relationships!

Real Estate for Social Good

One thing I’ve learned over the last few years of investing in real estate is that it’s all about relationships!

Yes obviously it has to be a good deal, in a strong market, but those can be found in a lot of places. More rare is finding competent people you can trust.

Relationships can make a good deal into a great deal! Realtors, contractors, property managers, investors, inspectors, lenders to name a few…

I just realized that over the last few years I’ve raised over a million dollars from investors for 10+ investment properties. People reach out to ask me about getting into real estate for all sorts of reasons — leaving something for their kids, wanting to retire with passive income, financial freedom.

I am personally invested in the success of folks who have trusted me to help them get into the real estate game. I’m finally starting to understand how much people’s trust in me and my character is what allows people to feel comfortable moving forward in this sometimes very uncomfortable space of real estate.

I know it sounds cliche, but that’s pretty humbling — to realize how much trust folks place in me to be a good person.

I can’t believe I was teaching K-12 and running educator professional development, and now I’m all about real estate and financial freedom!

What a huge shift it’s been, and so fun honestly. And I am really getting in tune with how this can be good work too, even when I thought real estate was evil.

Thanks to everyone I’ve ever done a deal with so far, and to everyone still thinking about it and getting ready to make some moves! I’m here for you. 🙂
