1) Budget what you can actually spend on a monthly payment. It might be higher than your current rent, but what’s something you could live with at a FIXED rate for 30 years.
2) Search within your range. This makes it REAL!!
3) Find a realtor who matches your values. Remember, a realtor’s job is to listen to you and help you achieve your goals, not to sell you a house.
4) Work with a lender who will run scenarios with you and find different ways to structure a loan to your advantage. Not all pre-approvals are created equal and don’t let someone convince you to go to your max!
5) Be persistent and consistent and you WILL find the perfect house! Don’t be discouraged by the hype and the media, people are still buying houses in the real world 😂😂😂
