Congrats to my buyers for being decisive about this condo and winning it on their first weekend out!
We were just taking a gander at some places, but they had gotten all their ducks in a row with lending before even going out, and saw enough places in one day that it was clear what was going to work and what wasn’t.
So it was easy to say yes!
That’s the beauty of seeing things in person…we tend to pack our showings back to back, and even though it’s exhausting it’s also a great way to narrow down your search pretty quickly!
Yet again, we were not the highest offer, but we were the most persistent and prepared, and we WON!
Some sellers see the value in a solid offer from serious buyers, which is worth more in the long term than a few thousand dollars.
(Side note, we are using the CalHFA program that is NOT out of funds, which is 3% — love this program for my first time homebuyers.)
Congrats to them on opening escrow on their first place in SoCal together!
Nervous as always for inspection period but we leave no stone unturned, and if it’s the right one for them then it will become clear very soon!
